CBS Radio Taps Mennuto

Named VP of Branded Content Solutions

CBS Radio has chosen Tony Mennuto as its new vice president of branded content solutions. He will continue to be based out of New York, reporting to Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for the Altitude Group Rich Lobel.

Mennuto will develop unique audio and video marketing opportunities for advertisers that can be distributed across a variety of platforms, and he is charged with “creating storytelling programs that leverage the broadcast reach and expertise of CBS Radio,” according to the release.

“Creating content as a way to stand out with consumers is an effective tool for brands as they contemplate their overall advertising strategy,” said Lobel.

Prior to joining CBS Radio, Mennuto served as chief content officer and founder of MisterFace, an eclectic content creation company. From 2002–09, he was the executive creative director of Sound Lounge; while there, he built the company’s Radio, Casting, and Creative Service divisions.

He was previously a television comedy writer, producer and actor for major television networks including HBO, NBC, ESPN, VH1, and CBS.

Altitude Group is CBS Radio’s team of local engagement experts tasked with helping Fortune 500 brands connect with consumers using its 117 stations and live events platform, along with assets from CBS Television Stations, and CBS Local Digital Media.
