CBS Radio’s SportsRadio 94WIP is heading back out to the ballpark, as the station has announced that it has extended its broadcast partnership to be the exclusive play-by-play provider for the Philadelphia Phillies.
SportsRadio 94WIP have been home to Phillies’ broadcasts for the past five years and have featured Scott Franzke as its announcer, with Larry Andersen and Jim Jackson providing commentary. 94WIP’s 2017 season broadcasts will begin with the Feb. 24, 2017 Spring Training game between the New York Yankees.
In addition, 94WIP will continue broadcast its “Leading Off” pregame show and “The Final Out” postgame show. Regular broadcasts are expected to take place at the NovaCare Broadcast Booth located on the concourse of Citizens Bank Park as well.
