We’re getting an idea of what CBS will do with its new RIOT entity.
The cross-platform division of CBS Corp. — bridging its local radio, Internet, outdoor and television sales operations — and 1-800-Flowers.com announced a call for entries for the “Fields of the World” contest. Consumers determine the country of origin for the next addition to 1-800-Flowers.com’s “Fields of the World” bouquet, which features an array of floral bouquets, each designed to capture the beauty of different countries around the world.
Consumers can upload favorite photos from their travels to the contest’s Web site, and submit a short story explaining the inspiration behind it. Photos of finalists will be featured on a CBS outdoor billboard in the finalists’ respective hometowns. Then, starting Oct. 8, the 10 finalists will be posted on the 1-800-Flowers.com Web site so the public can vote on a grand prize winner, who will then have their photo featured on a CBS outdoor billboard New York’s Times Square.
