CC Austin Names Bosch PD for KASE, KVET

Wyatt named operations manager for Clear Channel Charlotte

JT Bosch Clear Channel Austin has chosen JT Bosch as the program director of KASE(FM) and KVET(FM), Austin’s heritage country stations, beginning April 22.

Jay Shannon, vice president of programming in Austin, announced that Bosch will join the cluster from Harrisburg, Pa., where he most recently served as operations manager and regional program manager for the Harrisburg, Lancaster/Reading, Williamsport and Allentown markets.

Bosch has been in the radio industry since 1988 and began his career at WUPE(AM) in Pittsfield, Mass., supporting broadcasts of Boston Red Sox baseball games. Bosch took on his first role as a program director at WRHT(FM) in Greenville, N.C. He then became assistant program director and music director for WLAN(FM) in Lancaster, Pa. and was later named program director. From there he, became the program director for WHKF(FM) in Harrisburg, and in 2008 was named program director for WRBT(FM).

“My first gig as a program director was at WRHT. Several years before I had started there as the overnight guy, but it was one of the most amazing experiences a young program director could have. Fast forward to my time in Harrisburg, which was one of the most challenging and rewarding jobs,” said Bosch.

Jeff Wyatt Clear Channel Austin owns and operates KASE, KHFI(FM), KPEZ(FM), KVET and KVET(AM).

Jeff Wyatt has been named Clear Channel Charlotte’s new operations manager. He will oversee the cluster comprised of WHQC(FM), WEND(FM), WRFX(FM), WLYT(FM), WKKT(FM). In addition, he will also serve as regional programming manager for the Charlotte and Raleigh markets.

Wyatt has 30 years of experience in the radio industry. He previously served as regional vice president of programming for Clear Channel’s Mid-Atlantic Region, during which time he managed the programming and marketing for 32 Clear Channel radio stations. Wyatt also has had programming, management and on-air roles in Boston, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and Washington at Gannett, CBS Radio, Emmis Broadcasting and others.

According to a release, a software update, v1.7.0, will do the trick.
