The CEA is moving to Crystal City later this year.
The 2,100-member trade association is in Arlington, Va. Staffers told me during CES the group wanted to own its own building and needed more meeting space. Office room was freed up recently in Crystal City, an unincorporated area of Arlington County within sight of the U.S. Capitol and Washington Monument, when some federal government agencies moved.
New spokesman Jason Oxman says the CEA digs on South Eads Street are being renovated and the company hopes to move by the end of March.
The trade group says combined, its members bill more than $140 billion in annual sales.
