Wheeler will join CEA President/CEO Gary Shapiro for a one-on-one discussion addressing issues vital to the technology industry, a release explained. “Wheeler takes the helm of the FCC at a critical time for the reallocation of spectrum for wireless broadband and other services,” Shapiro said.
The Super Session is slated for Jan. 8 at 2:30 p.m. at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Also, FCC Commissioners Mignon Clyburn, Jessica Rosenworcel, Ajit Pai and Mike O’Rielly will be panelists on the FCC Regulatory Agenda for 2014 session. The gathering will offer insight into their thoughts on regulatory and policy issues, including spectrum allocation, accessibility and regulatory reform, that are dominating the conversation as the new year arrives. That session is also scheduled for Jan. 8, at 3:45 p.m. in the LVCC.
International CES runs Jan. 7–10 in Las Vegas.
