ChainCast Buys StreamAudio
Following StreamAudio’s two-month trial of ChainCast streaming technology, ChainCast has acquired StreamAudio.
StreamAudio provides Internet streaming services, including ad replacement, for radio companies Salem, Cox Radio and Entercom among others. ChainCast provides a “peer-to-peer” streaming network that the company states “dramatically lower cost compared to other solutions.”
StreamAudio will continue to serve its customers using its StreamAudio brand. The deal’s terms were not disclosed.
