Chairman, Partner Quit Air America

Air America’s co-founder and chairman, Evan Cohen has resigned along with investment partner and vice chairman Rex Sorensen. Two other executives departed earlier, co-founder/CEO Mark Walsh and programming head Dave Logan.
The new liberal talk network also failed to make its payroll Wednesday, according to the Chicago Tribune. Workers were reportedly paid the next day.
Air America has been on the air 5 weeks; it’s Chicago affiliate pulled the network off the air there due to a payment dispute.
Air America President Jon Sinton chalked up the departures to start-up pains. He told the Chicago Tribune, “We are on the air to stay.”
