FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski is switching press secretaries.
Neil Grace, in the role since 2011, is becoming a senior communications advisor to the commission. He joined the agency from Burson-Marsteller, where he was director of issues and crisis practice.
Justin Cole has joined the chairman’s office as press secretary.
Genachowski credited Grace’s work in helping to drive the FCC’s agenda to increase broadband access and adoption.
Cole comes to the commission from Tata Communications and prior to that was deputy editor for Fitch Ratings.
