Chuck Maines Sets Up Shop

Chuck Maines has established his own equipment distribution business, called Mainesource.
Maines is familiar to radio equipment buyers. He began his career at Allied Broadcast in 1978, where Roy Ridge hired him to work in the shipping department. Maines moved into sales within a year, and worked at Allied and Harris Broadcast until 1999; he then worked as a systems manager and product line manager in the broadcast division of Richardson Electronics for six years.
He is representing distributor Broadcast Depot in the U.S. market as its national sales manager. Through Broadcast Depot he offers sales of products by companies including Shure, E/V, Middle-Atlantic, Comrex, Telos, Orban and RVR USA; Maines said he is also looking to add more companies to his line card.
