Chuck Rockhill Dead at 70

Sales engineer worked for Sparta, Moseley, Allied-Harris and others

Charles F. (Chuck) Rockhill recently passed away.

His friend Steve Sampson has provided us with some information on him.

Rockhill was 70 and died on Nov. 30, at his home in Cary, Ill. He is survived by his wife Sharon and son Bradley. He was born in Indiana and attended Ball State University in Muncie, Ind.

Over the years, he worked for a number of broadcast equipment manufacturers, including: Sparta Electronics, Beau Motors, Moseley (VP and director of sales), Allied Broadcast Equipment/later Harris-Allied Broadcast (director of sales for the Broadcast Systems Division) and Andrew Corp.

He later formed Asia Pacific Business Development and served as a consultant for several major companies. Sampson adds, “Chuck was well known in the industry and well respected for his vast knowledge.”
