Clear Channel ‘Remains Committed’ to Selection Process

Clear Channel 'Remains Committed' to Selection Process

Here’s how the decision-making process into electronic radio ratings, which has been covered here, is playing out in Clear Channel’s home-town San Antonio Business Journal.
“The evaluation team launched by Clear Channel Radio several months ago to secure a new audience metering system for the industry has shrunk. That’s because four of the radio groups that were part of that team have apparently left the process and signed multi-year deals with the current ratings-system provider — Arbitron Inc.,” the publication writes.
“Clear Channel is not rattled by the moves. Instead, company spokeswoman Michele Clarke told the magazine the ‘cross-industry evaluation team … remains committed to the RFP process.'”
