Clear Channel Airs Obama Radio Interview

Candidate talks to Ed Gordon and listeners.

U.S. senator and Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama answered questions this week from listeners of Clear Channel Radio urban stations, including his thoughts on potentially becoming president at a time when the nation is facing an economic crisis at home and abroad.

During what the broadcaster described as an exclusive, 15-minute interview with Ed Gordon, host of “Our World with Black Enterprise,” Obama urged young black men to take responsibility for their lives, saying “We are the masters of our own fate,” while also discussing his plans for creating jobs and improving education to enhance opportunities.

The interview aired on 25 Clear Channel Radio stations and associated station Web sites.
