Clear Channel Media and Entertainment has made available an artist list for its second iHeartRadio Music Festival, Sept. 21–22, in Las Vegas, at the MGM Grand.
Announced are Taylor Swift, Aerosmith, Rihanna, Usher, Bon Jovi, Lil Wayne, Green Day, Shakira, Mary J. Blige, Miranda Lambert, Enrique Iglesias, Linkin Park, Swedish House Mafia, No Doubt, Brad Paisley, Pitbull, deadmau5, Jason Aldean, P!nk and Calvin Harris. More are expected to be announced between now and the show.
As in last year’s festival, Ryan Seacrest will kick things off.Clear Channel is finalizing audio and video streaming plans for iHeartRadio, mobile devices and content partners such as Yahoo.
CEO Bob Pittman said in the announcement, “Music is the lifeblood of so much of what we do at Clear Channel.”
In other Clear Channel news, Jeff Boden was named general sales manager for Clear Channel’s Washington market. Under his watch will be WASH(FM), WMZQ(FM) and WBIG(FM). Boden has decades of experience in the Washington market, highlighted with president and GM of WRQX(FM) and WMAL(AM).
