Clear Channel Completes Spins, Clears Way to Buy AMFM

Clear Channel Communications Inc. (NYSE:CCU) has completed the divestitures of radio stations in 35 markets. The move is a prerequisite to closing the merger with AMFM Inc.
Clear Channel is still awaiting DOJ action to file stipulation and final judgment with the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and terminate the waiting period. Once this happens, Clear Channel will have the go-ahead to complete the merger with AMFM.
