Clear Channel Media and Entertainment and media content company Relativity are planning to work together to promote Relativity’s next group of films via Clear Channel’s multimedia properties.
The agreement spans 18 months. According to a release, “Relativity and Clear Channel will develop one-of-a-kind campaigns that utilize Clear Channel’s cross-platform media assets … promoting upcoming movies in creative and compelling ways designed to drive box office sales.”
According to the release the two companies have worked together before on such Relativity films as “Immortals,”“Act of Valor,”“Safe Haven” and “Free Birds.”
The agreement provides for Relativity providing exclusive content to CC along with making filmmakers and stars available to CC properties and programming.
On Clear Channel’s end, besides traditional movie promotion such as interviews and contests, there will be social media and mobile marketing tools deployed as well.
