Clear Channel Media and Entertainment says it will air a one-hour special, the “iHeartRadio Album Preview with Bruce Springsteen,” to air exclusively on 100 of Clear Channel’s classic rock and adult album alternative stations nationwide on Jan.14, at 9 p.m. (EST/PT), coinciding with the album’s release on Columbia Records.
Hosted by Clear Channel’s Jim Kerr, the “iHeartRadio Album Preview” will feature an interview with Springsteen discussing the story behind the making of “High Hopes” and the artist’s songwriting.
“This is a rare opportunity for millions of his fans across America to hear firsthand how ‘High Hopes’ was made and the stories behind the songs from his new album,” said John Sykes, president of Clear Channel Entertainment Enterprises.
A multiplatform campaign will also include an artist integration program and incorporate on-air and digital content including a series of custom created spots which will run across Clear Channel’s network of classic rock, news/talk and AAA stations for two weeks.
In addition, all participating stations and Bruce Springsteen’s iHeartRadio custom station page will feature new music off the album throughout Jan. 14 to build anticipation for the album preview. Station sites also include links to buy the album.
