Lonny Anger
Clear Channel announced two major personnel decisions involving leadership at major markets. Both appointments are effective immediately.
Lonny Anger is the new president and market manager for Clear Channel’s Miami operations.
Anger was most recently Clear Channel’s director of sales for the Miami market. He came to Clear Channel from Citadel. The Miami cluster consists of WBGG(FM), WHYI(FM), WINZ(AM), WIOD(AM), WMGE(FM), WMIA(FM) and WSHE(FM).
San Diego’s new president and market manager is Melissa Forrest.
Melissa Forrest
She most recently had the same position in Atlanta. Forrest also managed Clear Channel’s Total traffic Network and Georgia News Network. The San Diego operations consist of KBG(FM), KHTS(FM), KIOZ(FM), KLSD(AM), KMYI(FM), KOGO(AM) and KOGO(FM). Before joining Clear Channel Forrest worked for Entercom.
