Clear Channel Nashville Expands Duties for Bryan

Indianapolis taps Cressman for operations manager

Michael Bryan

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Nashville has named Michael Bryan program director of WRVW(FM) 107.5, The River. He will add to his current duties as operations manager for Clear Channel Nashville and program director for WSIX(FM), supervising programming for the heritage Top 40 station.

Bryan has more than two decades’ of experience in the industry. He joined Clear Channel Nashville as operations manager in early 2012, overseeing all programming and operations for the five-station cluster that consists of WLAC(AM), WNRQ(FM), WRVW(FM), WSIX(FM) and WUBT(FM).

In his role as program director for WSIX, The Big 98, Clear Channel’s flagship country station, and now The River, he manages the day-to-day programming of the stations.

Prior to joining the Nashville cluster, he served as digital program director for Clear Channel Orlando and program director of WXXL(FM).

Rob Cressman

“Based on Michael Bryan’s stellar track record, particularly during his tenure as program director of WXXL, I’m extremely confident that WRVW is in the most capable hands,” said Dan Endom, market manager, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Nashville.

In other Clear Channel news, the company’s Indianapolis division has chosen Rob Cressman as its new operations manager, effective Dec. 16. He will oversee the programming and operations for Indianapolis’ classic rock Q95 WFBQ(FM), alternative X103 WZRX(FM) and sports WNDE(AM).

Cressman will join Clear Channel Indianapolis from Saga Communications in Springfield, Mass., where he has served operations manager and brand manager since 2008. He also served as program director and operations manager at WMFS in Memphis and previously held roles in the Charleston, S.C., and Fredericksburg, Va., markets.
