Looks like Clear Channel has found a solution to what was becoming a splitting headache for the company in New York.
Clear Channel Radio and the Big Apple local of AFTRA have come to an agreement concerning voice-tracking. Details of the pact were not publicized. According to a statement released by the organizations, “both parties feel that the terms are in the best interest of AFTRA members, Clear Channel’s New York stations and radio listeners in the market.”
The decision affects Clear Channel’s on-air staff at FM stations WLTW, WKTU, WAXQ and WWPR.
