Clear Channel says that, according to Arbitron numbers, 20 of its stations in the first set of markets in the spring book saw "dramatic increases" in TSL.
In a press release titled "Less Is More Is Working," the broadcaster cited specific stations including KIIS(FM) in Los Angeles, which it said moved to No. 1 and increased its time spent listening among persons 12+ by 17.6% compared to a year ago.
Other stations cited include KFI(AM) and KTLK(AM) in Los Angeles, with TSL up by what the company called "an incredible" 141.2% and 5.9%, respectively; New York's WLTW(FM), up 9.7%; Chicago's WGCI(FM), up 15.6%; and Detroit, where it said five of seven stations increased while the rest held steady.
