Clear Channel Radio said that, 20 weeks after launch, its iheartradio application for the iPhone has been downloaded more than 1 million times.
Iheartradio is bucking reported user trends, with use growing an average of 13% per week since launch, according to the broadcaster. Clear Channel Radio streams iheartradio content at 64 kbytes and uses the AAC audio codec format.
Separately, the company revealed that a beta of iheartradio for the RIM BlackBerry is now available at iheartradio.com.
