Clear Channel Says 'Less' Really Adds Up to 'More' Money

Clear Channel Radio has posted answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding its “Less is More” spot load reduction initiative. In a promotional Q&A with CEO John Hogan circulated this week, the company says the drive helps correct excess ad inventory, allows radio to catch up to TV and other media, and injects more creativity into spots.
Response from listeners and advertisers has been positive, the company says, citing studies that confirm “people prefer fewer, shorter commercials and they remember entertaining and informative ads no matter what the length.”
