Clear Channel Signs Hamilton and Milner

Hamilton gets three-year deal while Milner goes to Sacramento

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment made two personnel announcements.

WKTU(FM) DJ Sean “Hollywood” Hamilton (see picture) has signed a three-year extension to stay at the station through 2015. Hamilton’s afternoon show at the New York City station is the top-rated afternoon show in the city for the 25–54 age group per Arbitron PPM, says Clear Channel. Hamilton also hosts the nationally-syndicated weekend show, “Remix Top 30 Countdown.”

In the other piece of Clear Channel news, Dave Milner has been named president and market manager for the Sacramento, Calif., cluster. The appointment is effective immediately and he will report to Susan Karis, EVP operations, Western Region.

Milner was VP sales for Entercom San Francisco. He has also worked for Susquehanna Media and was VP for sales at Clear Channel Portland.

The Clear Channel Sacramento cluster consist of KFBK(AM/FM), KHLX(FM), KHYL(FM), KQJK(FM) and KSTE(AM).
