Clear Channel Radio and software creator Nav N Go are pairing up for a deal involving CCR’s Total Traffic Network.
By integrating traffic data from CCR’s Total Traffic Network into Nav N Go Kft.’s software, they hope to speed development time for makers of GPS-equipped personal navigation devices and other electronics.
Nav devices featuring the software will offer CCTTN’s traffic data as a free trial for the first 90 days.
Nav N Go is a Hungarian IT company that incorporated in 2004; it develops usability and navigation software for makers of PNDs, smartphones, handheld game consoles and in-car navigation systems.
Clear Channel Radio’s Total Traffic Network provides supplies traffic data to subscribers; its customers now include BMW, Mini USA, Volvo — which offer subscription-free services — and device makers like Garmin, TomTom, Clarion and Harmon Kardon.
