Clear Channel Uses Fuel Price Concern for Promotion

Some 480 Clear Channel radio stations are participating in a “Gas for Life” promotion, which will present a listener with $250,000, presumably enough money to afford gas for life.
Listeners register by way of participating station Web sites; a winner will be selected from the entries and announced on July 8.
“With gas prices a tremendous concern for most Americans, the Gas for Life promotion gives us an opportunity to award a significant prize considering today’s economy and the cost of gas. Ultimately someone will never have to pay for gas again,” said a Clear Channel Radio programming official.
