Publicly traded firm DG Systems Inc. said Clear Channel Radio has deployed its DG Media Manager for digital spot, traffic and music delivery to all of its stations.
The DG Media Manager system was launched in late 2002. It is a dedicated, on-site server system, which the company touts as more efficient because stations do not need to rely on user intervention to download spots from the Internet or a dedicated phone line to receive spots.
The system also has Web-based, desktop access to spots and traffic, 300 hours of storage and multiple-user access to move spots into other digital systems such as station automation.
