Clear Channel Wichita Names Callihan Market Manager

Tucson Picks Wagner and WXTB moves Bailey up to program director

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Wichita (Kan.), which owns and operates KZCH(FM), KRBB(FM), KZSN(FM) and KTHR(FM), has named Stephanie Callihan its new market manager, effective Oct. 1. She will report to Regional Market Manager Beth Davis.

Callihan’s background includes experience leading sales planning and execution in various markets. She comes to Clear Channel Media and Entertainment from ABC/Citadel Communications in Dallas, where she served as director of sales for 13 years. She was previously employed by Clear Channel as a national account executive in Austin, Texas, later moving to Los Angeles as an account executive and then back to Austin as a local sales manager.

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Tucson (Ariz.) has selected Debbie Wagner for the same position. She will report to Glynn Alan, regional market manager for Tucson, Las Vegas and El Paso.

Clear Channel Tucson owns and operates KMIY(FM), KRQQ(FM), KOHT(FM), KNST(AM), KNST(FM), KTZR(AM) and KXEW(AM).

Ty Bailey

In other Clear Channel news, WXTB(FM) of Tampa Bay, Fla., has chosen assistant program director Ty Bailey as its new program director. The rock station’s former Program Director James Howard, will now serve as program director for WWDC(FM) in Washington and WQSR(FM) in Baltimore.

Bailey’s previous programming roles include positions as assistant program director/music director for Baltimore’s WCHH(FM) and program director of Galaxy’s WKRL(FM) in Syracuse, N.Y., and WKLL(FM) in Utica, N.Y.

Clear Channel Tampa owns and operates WFLA(AM), WDAE(AM), WHNZ(AM), WFLZ(FM), WBTP(FM), WXTB(FM), WMTX(FM) and WFUS(FM).
