Clinton to Receive Service Award

Clinton to Receive Service Award

Former President Bill Clinton will receive the Service to America Leadership Award from the NAB Education Foundation in June at the annual Service to America event in Washington.
The organization noted that Clinton has established a foundation focusing on health security, with an emphasis on HIV/AIDS; economic empowerment; leadership, development and citizen service; and racial, ethnic and religious reconciliation. He also served as co-chair of the Families of Freedom Fund with Sen. Bob Dole, which raised scholarship money for families of those killed or injured on Sept. 11.
