Mainstream and ministry radio executives networked over dessert and coffee as 80 radio broadcasters joined the Christian Music Broadcasters reception last Wednesday evening during the NAB radio Show in San Diego.
Jim Marshall, educational track chair for CMB, welcomed guests to the event and spoke of CMB’s mission to increase the visibility and impact of Christian music radio. Additionally, musical group MercyMe performed a 40-minute set, including its crossover hit, “I Can Only Imagine.”
CMB works with NRB, NAB, GMA and other organizations and events to promote educational sessions for Christian radio personnel. CMB’s next events include the Radio Boot Camp at NRB in February, and the CMB Educational Track at GMA in April.
