Today is the last day for the CNN Radio unit.
Its “Newsday” program had been a podcast for the last year since Dial Global dropped broadcast distribution, replacing it with NBC News Radio.
CNN “completed a review of its radio business and has made the decision to cease production of CNN Radio podcasts, effective immediately,” according to a CNN statement.
The actual last broadcast day for the unit was Tuesday and today the unit officially closes.
