Coca-Cola is ready for a second go around of “The Coke Studio Radio Hour,” as the company has announced that is has renewed its partnership with Radio Express for a second year of the one-hour radio show aimed at music lovers in Africa.
The 11-week program will be offered in seven versions and six languages, including English, French, Portuguese, Swahili, Amharic and Lugandan.
“The Coke Studio Radio Hour” is a complementary version of the “Coke Studio Africa” TV program, with both bringing together musical artists from different genres, eras and regions to create a musical collaboration. The show will feature the music of current and past Coke Studio performances and behind-the-scenes interviews with the artists.
The second season of “Coke Studio Radio Hour” is expected to premiere this month on radio stations in Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, Mozambique, Ghana, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Togo, Cameroon, Ivory Coast and Senegal.
