Coleman’s Chris Ackerman Retires

Coleman Insights VP begins new chapter

Radio programming consultancy Coleman Insights Vice President Chris Ackerman has retired after 40 years in broadcasting and 22 years with the company.

“It has been a wonderful ride and we’ve made some great radio together,” Ackerman said in a press release from the company. “Thank you all for everything. Kathy and I look forward to discovering what lies ahead in the next chapter of our lives.”

Ackerman can be reached at Coleman Insights for the next few weeks and through Facebook.

“Chris is going to be missed on so many levels,” said President and COO Warren Kurtzman. “Our clients will miss his advice and counsel. We will miss his presence as a fabulous mentor to employees at every level of our organization. Most of all, however, I am going to miss having my good friend for the last 20 years down the hall. Jon Coleman, John Boyne, Sam Milkman and I — along with everyone at Coleman Insights — wish nothing but the best for Chris and thank him for his incalculable contributions to the success of our company.”

Coleman Insights is headquartered in Research Triangle Park, N.C., with offices in Philadelphia and Hamburg, Germany.
