Dennis Collins will leave Lincoln Financial Media at the end of this year, after three decades with the company and a 42-year broadcast career.
No successor has been named.
The senior VP and GM of the company’s Miami cluster joined what was then Jefferson-Pilot Communications in a sales management position in 1981. He was promoted to vice president/general manager in 1984 and to senior VP/GM nine years later. He now oversees operations at adult contemporary WLYF(FM), classic hits WMXJ(FM) and sports talk WAXY(AM).
He also worked for Cox Broadcasting in Dayton, Ohio, and Philadelphia.
Company President/CEO Don Benson called Collins “one of the most driven managers I’ve ever met.”
