Comments Due March 22 for FCC’s WRC-15 Draft

Comments are due March 22 on FCC draft recommendations regarding issues to be considered at the 2015 World Radiocommunication Conference.

WRC discussions generally involve international spectrum-related agreements.

See those recommendations here. The FCC’s International Bureau is inclined to support most of the suggestions provided by the WRC-15 advisory committee.

The commission also seeks comment on NTIA’s draft proposals to WRC-15.

Public input will help the commission in upcoming talks with the U.S. Department of State and NTIA in developing U.S. positions for WRC-15.

Localism Comments Due to FCC March 14

Changes proposed in the proceeding including scaling back or repealing the rule allowing unattended operations, tightening of the main studio rule and other modifications designed to make sure broadcasters are fulfilling their public service requirements, according to the agency.
