Pai will share his views on communications policy and how it affects local radio broadcasters. He will also discuss his efforts to revitalize the AM band.
The Radio Luncheon will also feature the presentation of the National Radio Award to Hubbard Radio Chair Ginny Morris.
Pai joined the FCC as commissioner in May 2012. Currently, he’s the sole GOP commissioner at the FCC.
Between 2007 and 2011, Pai held several positions in the FCC’s Office of General Counsel, including deputy general counsel. Prior to joining the FCC, he was a partner in the Communications Practice at Jenner & Block and associate general counsel at Verizon Communications.
