Everything you ever wanted to know about wired phones is in this book. Since 1939, the FCC has published the “Statistics of Communications Common Carriers,” a reference work that includes data on
telecommunications costs, revenues, prices, and use. The agency is making all of the data available electronically at this time, before the report’s December publication. A second notice will be issued when printed versions can be purchased from the U.S. Government Printing Office.
