Community Broadcasters Buys Seven From Clancy-Mance

David Mance, president of Clancy-Mance Communications, sold seven stations in New York state to Community Broadcasters LLC for $5.42 million. Four serve the Watertown market.
Community is run by James Leven and Bruce Mittman; Leven is former owner of Pilot Communications; Mittman is former president of the WFNX Network.
The stations they’re buying are WBDI(FM) in Copenhagen, WOTT(FM) in Henderson, WTOJ(FM) in Carthage, WATN(AM) in Watertown, all of which are in the Watertown Arbitron market; as well as WBDB(FM)/WSLB(AM) in Ogdensburg and WGIX(FM) in Gouverneur.
