The National Federation of Community Broadcasters’ 39th annual Community Radio Conference is scheduled for the end of this month, May 28–31, in Reston, Va., at the Hyatt Regency Reston.
Long-time Democratic Party operative Donna Brazile will give the keynote address, “What Happened to ‘We the People?’: Thoughts on the Media and Our Democratic Process.”
Scheduled sessions will look at LPFMs, finance and grants, human resources, programming, social media and FCC/legal matters.
The conference will have “intensive” workshops on everything from practical production skills to fundraising to motivating volunteers.
