Continental reported delivery of new transmitters to several clients.
It delivered two 816HD Analog+HD FM transmitters to two Clear Channel stations in Lexington, Ky.: WBUL at 98.1 and WLKT at 104.5. The WBUL installation has a TPO of 26 kW; once the WLKT installation is complete it will have a TPO of 22kW. The station engineer is Girard Westerberg.
Also, the supplier shipped an 816HD to Your Public Radio Corporation’s WYPR in Baltimore, which airs at 88.1. The TPO will be 13 kW; the engineer is Fred Rathert.
Another 816HD shipped to Entercom station WWL in New Orleans for operation at 105.3; the TPO will be 22.5kW. The station engineer is Joe Pollet.
And an 816HD went out to Regent Broadcasting’s KSII in El Paso, Texas, for 93.1, with a TPO of 25 kW. Dave Remund is overseeing the project.
