Continental, Prophet Partner on FM/HD Radio Solution

Continental Electronics has partnered with Prophet Systems to market an integrated studio/STL disaster management system for broadcasters that use Prophet’s NexGen digital automation system or those looking to add it.
The effort pairs a specially branded version of NexGen with Continental’s 816HD transmission platform. NexGen Digital executes log functions in addition to playing back music, spots, liners, relay closures and shift changes. By adding a standalone Prophet Importer module, broadcasters can add HD Radio capabilities like multicasting and datacasting.
