Cooley Will Keynote Radio Luncheon

CNET commentator returns

NAB must like Brian Cooley, they keep asking him back.

The CNET senior commentator will give a keynote at the NAB Show Radio Luncheon on April 12 in Las Vegas. In the announcement, NAB’s John David explains: “Brian Cooley’s knack for breaking down technical concepts into entertaining stories has appealed to radio listeners for years.” He said Cooley has a “unique talent for inspiring audiences with energy and passion for new technology.”

Cooley knows radio, having been on the air in Los Angeles and San Francisco; he joined CNET in 1995 and launched CNET Radio Online, which led to two all-tech format stations in San Francisco and Boston. His website describes a background of “radio news alloyed with a specialty in technology, built on a foundation of morning drive experience with some of the best in the business.”

He appears a lot on national TV programs and in other media outlets, and talks about things like technology, consumer electronics, high-tech cars and the financial markets. His “Tips for Digital Living” series shows at retailers like Wal-Mart.
