Copps Organizes Two Ownership Hearings

Continuing his push for hearings outside the Washington Beltway, FCC Commissioner Michael Copps also announced he would conduct two media concentration hearings.
One will be in Seattle at the University of Washington, the other at Duke University in North Carolina. Both will be in March.
The FCC is in the process of reviewing local ownership and cross-ownership rules.
“We can’t pretend everyone reads the Federal Register or has lobbyists to make their voice heard at the FCC,” he said.
