Canadian broadcaster Corus Entertainment has chosen the Viigo platform for mobile content delivery for its nine radio stations.
Viigo will do more than simply stream the station’s signal; IT will provide all of the station’s Web site content including weather, stock quotes, travel, sports scores, etc., the supplier stated. Viigo works with Windows Mobile and BlackBerry phones. Corus has stations in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg and Hamilton.

We know listeners are actively engaged with smartphones and Viigo allows our stations to tap into that growing market of consumers and deliver them great content.”
