Corus Uses iMediaTouch in Toronto

Broadcaster also looks ahead to spring move to new HQ

Corus Entertainment installed iMediaTouch radio automation at Toronto facilities of its three radio stations.

OMT, which makes iMediaTouch systems, said Corus intends to continue to use the system when it moves to new headquarters next spring.

“IMediaTouch is used for all broadcast operations including live assist and automated broadcasts, Web streaming and radio display data,” it stated.

“Corus’ radio talent will also use OMT’s On-Air Remote software to control the studio operations from two street-level studios located at Yonge and Dundas Streets in Toronto.”

Jack Hoeppner is national director of engineering for Corus Entertainment.
