Country Artist Promotes HD Radio

Brent Cobb’s tour begins Jan. 16

“HD Radio broadcasting is good times for modern music,” says country singer/songwriter Brent Cobb.

The Nashville-based Cobb and iBiquity Digital are partnering to promote both the radio technology and Cobb’s music. His 2014 tour, which kicks off Jan. 16 in Kansas City, Mo., will create exclusive HD Radio fan experiences including show tickets, meet and greets, private performances, copies of his music and HD Radio product giveaways.

The partnership is designed to create promotional opportunities for HD Radio stations. Participating stations will get show tickets and an opportunity for their listeners to join Cobb in an up close fan experience.

IBiquity Digital President/CEO Bob Struble says HD Radio broadcasts are a good fit for artists like Cobb and new HD2 and HD3 channels provide artists access to the radio airwaves and fans alike.

Cobb’s songs have been recorded by country music artists such as Luke Bryan, Little Big Town, David Nail, Frankie Ballard, Kellie Pickler and the Eli Young Band. Cobb’s current single “Diggin Holes” is climbing the Music Row Chart, according to the announcement.
