The FCC granted a construction permit for a planned new noncom station at 88.3 MHz in Winter Park, Colo.
The license is to Fraser Valley Community Media for a Class C3, 10 kW station. Its application dates to a short window opened by the FCC in fall of 2007.
The prospective community radio station has been fundraising, according to its website, and has associated itself with the program “Democracy Now.”
