Public radio stations are about to get more help in developing donations and revenue.
The Corporation for Public Broadcasting awarded $235,000 to The Development Exchange to create a Major Giving Plan for public radio stations. The program is modeled after a CPB television initiative.
“The plan will devise strategies to raise the proficiency of major giving activity at stations, increase the number of major gift donors to stations and increase net revenue for the stations,” the organizations stated.
The Development Exchange is a public radio fundraising and marketing service organization.
