Crawford Detroit Gets New Chief Engineer

Former Townsquare engineer McEachern will start Aug. 15

Crawford Broadcasting Co. has announced that Aaron McEachern is the new chief engineer of CBC–Detroit, effective Aug. 15. He replaces Joe Huk, who left in April to work for General Motors in its OnStar project.

McEachern most recently worked in a family hearing aid business. He, however, does have engineering experience and familiarity with the area, having previously worked for Townsquare Media in Flint, Mich. He has experience in both AM and FM, antennas, transmitters, digital media systems, digital audio distribution and routing and information technology, according to a release.

McEachern will start work at the three-station, four-site major market cluster Aug. 15.
