Crawford Broadcasting signed a multi-year deal with Arbitron for the Portable People Meter audience measurement service when the system is deployed in Chicago.

That is expected in January. Crawford owns four FMs in the market.

Chicago is scheduled to begin the transition to the PPM in January, as are Los Angeles and Riverside-San Bernardino. Philadelphia went over in April; Houston converts fully in July and New York goes in October.
